Benedikt Henkel at the EHEDG World Congress 2016

Benedikt Henkel was delighted to have been actively involved in his contribution to this year’s EHEDG World Congress in Herning, Denmark at the beginning of November. The presentation titled “Surface Treatment as Key Factor for Stainless Steel with Food Contact” dealt with the aspects of hygienic plant design from a material and surface-specific perspective. Here, he illustrated the interplay between material and surface finish. Among other things, the effects of a functional surface on CIP methods were demonstrated.

In addition to participating in the EHEDG World Congress, HENKEL was also represented at the Foodtech Exhibition, which is held in parallel. As part of the joint booth with our Danish cooperation partner Alflow A/S, HENKEL presented a variety of sample parts for pharmaceutical & food applications. Our colleagues were very satisfied with the progress and the discussions held at the trade fair.
