Last year, shortly before Christmas, HENKEL Hungary made a donation to Caritas in Györ. At the end of February, there was a request to use the unused funds to support the refugees from Ukraine.
Unfortunately, the pandemic is still keeping us all in charge. Everyday business life will continue to be determined by this. With our successful hygiene concept in our plants in combination with mobile working and video conferencing, we are very well positioned for this, but we are increasingly missing personal, low-threshold contact with our customers and partners. From the 31st of January up to 2nd of February 2018 our sales Partner UCT Korea represented our Portfolio at the SEMICON Korea.
On the 1st of September 2017 our new trainees started their Service at the Neustadt-Glewe plant.

The European XFEL (X-Ray Free-Electron Laser) multinational research project started on 6 October. 350 guests from politics and science accompanied the assembly of one of the last components of the 3.4 kilometre-long X-ray laser. The new research facility, in which 11 partner countries are involved, will be the most powerful X-ray laser of its kind.

Prominent visit to the Neustadt-Glewe plant. Governor of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Erwin Sellering, announced he would make a flying visit to our branch in Northern Germany.
Once again, more than 20 participants were able to find out about the properties and machining possibilities of stainless steels. The local experts answered the questions of the participants and were delighted with the active participation.
In the jubilee year of Lounges, we have dedicated ourselves 11 times to the success of the event. During the three days of the fair (5 - 7 April), we electropolished daily live on stage, and also had a product show for the HENKEL Ferroxyltest HC7000.
In the week from 15 to 19 June 2015, we were able to welcome a large number of interested visitors to our booth at ACHEMA 2015.
On 15 and 16 April 2015, we conducted the successful seminar series Topography and Morphology of Functional Stainless Steel Surfaces at the Technical Academy Esslingen (TAE) for the fifth time.
LOUNGES took place from 19 to 21 May 2015 in Stuttgart. We were also part of the event and used the numerous opportunities for active participation in the event.
